Methi Chapathi: It is a north
Indian recipe. It is easy and simple to make. I prepare this methi roti on week
end days. Methi is already a healthy leafy vegetable. I have posted a methi side dish in this blog. If you want, you can check it out here.
In this methi chapathi, I have
sauted the methi leaves in oil first and then mixed with wheat flour and have
made the chappathi. But some people also add the leaves raw.
As I sauted the leaves before
adding to the wheat flour, it released nice aroma while making the chapathi
.It came out very well and tasty. It is an easy way of adding leafy vegetables
into our diet.
We can have this methi chapathi
with curd and pickle. But since it is week end, I had enough time so I paired
it with aloo matar sabzi. It’s a heavy and healthy breakfast.
