This is a little spicy, yummy as
well as healthy side dish for roti. This
recipe helps you in your weight loss journey as it will reduce your
carbohydrate intake due to the feeling of fullness it gives. The major
ingredients are green peas potato and cauliflower which are rich in fibre,
protein and antioxidants.
Fresh
green peas are abundance in winter season. Cauliflower is a good source of
fibre and antioxidants and it is very beneficial to our reproductive system.
Potato is also a low carb diet
which gives you a feeling of fullness. So this recipe is an incredibly healthy
food to incorporate in your diet.
Green peas: 2 hands full
Cauliflower: ¼th of the flower
1 potato chopped into cubes
1 capsicum chopped
1 onion finely chopped
1 tomato finely chopped
Crushed ginger garlic paste
4 sliced chillies
Salt to taste
For
seasoning:
Cumin seeds: 1 teaspoon
Curry leaves: 7 to 8 leaves
Gingely oil/ coconut oil: 3 to 4
tbspn
Spice
powders:
Chilli powder: 1 tbspn
Coriander powder: 1 tbspn
Garam masala powder: ½ tspn
Turmeric powder: ½ tspn
How
to make?
1.
Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds and curry
leaves. Then add the crushed ginger gaurlic paste and saute it.

The add tomatoes and sauté it

Now add all the vegetables. Saute well. Sprinkle
some salt and turmeric powder and stir it. Then close the lid and cook for 15
min. Intermittently open the lid and sprinkle some water

Add all the spice powder and stir well and cook
for 3 to 4 min until the raw smell of the spice powders disappear. Sprinkle
some water if necessary.
8.
Serve it hot for roti.
