A soup that makes you fertile/drumstick flower soup

  It was a rainy day and drumstick tree had withered its flowers. Though withered, it was fresh due the rain droplets. And, I started to surf through the internet to know about the health benefits of drumstick flowers.         Drumstick flowers are good to skin, hair and also the main benefit is that it makes us fertile. There are no of ways to add drumstick flowers to our diet. Kanyakumari style All in one Healthy side dish/Avial kootu

  Avial is an important vegetarian side dish in kanyakumari. It is prepared as semi solid side dish for either fish curry or any other vegetarian currys in kanyakumari. It is very simple to make. Just cooking all the vegetables in water and add coconut paste and season it or first seasoning and then add vegetables and coconut paste. Making Avial in mud pot gives the complete taste. Healthy morning breakfast/Aids in weightloss/Sattu maavu milkshake

 Today I am going to make a health mix drink using sattu maavu. This sattu maavu is from government Balvadi(Indian pre-school). I got this sattumaavu from my co-sister which she got it for her two children. We can also make health mix at home which I would share you in another post. Whenever I wanted to reduce weight, I have this health mix as my morning breakfast. Let's see how I made this sattu maavu milk shake. Ingredients : Sattu maavu/sattu flour: 3 tablespoon Milk: 250ml Powdered jaggery: 1 tablespoon Water: 1 cup How to make sattu maavu milkshake? Take 200ml of water in a sauce pan and boil it. Add 3 tablespoon of saattu maavu and stir it so that there are no lumps Cook it by stirring for 3 minutes Then add 250ml of milk and boil the mixture When the milk boils, add 1 tablespoon of palm sugar or powdered jaggery and mix it and cook for 1 min Switch off the flame and transfer the hot milkshake to a cup. Traditional Home made sambhar powder/Safe and Healthy Sambhar powder

  Always it is good to eat healthy foods. You are what you eat. In recent days we have started buying Rasam powder, sambhar powder and other masala powders from shops. But not all the brands are safe. So its good to go traditional.  And yes, I have started making all powders at home of my own. Now a days my mom too use to prefer my home made powders. Today Iam here with sambhar powder. Lets see how I made it.
