simple and easy cabbage stir fry


How does it help you?
Cabbage is rich in vitamin C, Vitamin K, Vitamin B6 and folate. It is rich in dietary fibre and also contain powerful anti-oxidants. Anti-oxidants protect our body from cell damage caused by free radicals. It also has anti-inflammatory property. Since it rich in vitamin C, it has anti-ageing property too.
Ingredients:
  • 2 cups of shredded cabbage
  • 1 chopped green chilli
  • 1finley chopped onion
  • Cumin seeds ½ teaspoon
  • Curry leaves
  • 3 tbsp of Gingelly oil/ coconut oil
  • Salt to taste.
Spice powders:
  • 1 tbspn chilli powder
  • 1 tbspn coriander powder
  • ½ tspn turmeric powder.
How to make?
1.    Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds, finely chopped onion, curry leaves and chopped green chillies. Saute it for 1 minute.
2.   Add the shredded cabbage into the pan and stir it for 3 to 4 mimutes. You can close the lid and cook
3.   Add all the spice powders and sprinkle some salt and sauté it.
4.   Sauté until all the spices blends well with cabbage.
5.   Simple cabbage stir fry is ready

We can have it as a side dish for roti or rice. Working women cam make it quickly during their busy morning routine. Its very healthy too.
