Cabbage is rich in vitamin C, Vitamin K, Vitamin B6 and
folate. It is rich in dietary fibre and also contain powerful anti-oxidants.
Anti-oxidants protect our body from cell damage caused by free radicals. It also
has anti-inflammatory property. Since it rich in vitamin C, it has anti-ageing
property too.
- 2 cups of shredded cabbage
- 1 chopped green chilli
- 1finley chopped onion
- Cumin seeds ½ teaspoon
- Curry leaves
- 3 tbsp of Gingelly oil/ coconut oil
- Salt to taste.
Spice
powders:
- 1 tbspn chilli powder
- 1 tbspn coriander powder
- ½ tspn turmeric powder.
How to
make?
1.
Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds, finely
chopped onion, curry leaves and chopped green chillies. Saute it for 1 minute.
2.
Add the shredded cabbage into the pan and stir it
for 3 to 4 mimutes. You can close the lid and cook
We can have it as a side dish for roti or rice. Working women
cam make it quickly during their busy morning routine. Its very healthy too.
